About Todd Ginestra, MD

Dr. Todd Ginestra, Medical Director of Mesos Cosmetic Surgery and Laser Center is a board certified plastic surgeon and member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.

Dr. Ginestra is known and respected as a highly talented, educated and trained surgeon and specialist who is dedicated to helping each patient achieve her/his unique, individual image goals. He expertly performs plastic surgery procedures from head to toe and performs a broad spectrum of cosmetic and plastic procedures of the face, breasts and body, including: body contouring, Smartlipo and laser lipo, liposuction, facial surgery, lifts and eye lift surgery, tummy tuck and mommy makeovers, and breast augmentation and reconstruction. Dr. Ginestra has an eye for detail in performing reconstructive and aesthetic plastic surgery. One of his passions is performing breast reconstruction surgeries to helping women return to their personal best after a mastectomy. He feels it is extremely important that a woman feel whole during such a time in her life. Each patient deserves personalized, individual attention, so they can be certain they are given the best possible care.

After graduating from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and College of Medicine in Rockford, he completed a 5-year surgical residency in Akron, Ohio and a 3-year plastic surgical residency at the University of Illinois, Chicago. During his plastic surgery residency, Dr. Ginestra had extensive training in a wide variety of reconstructive and cosmetic procedures. He was board certified in plastic surgery in 2001. Staying current on the latest advances in cosmetic surgery and laser treatments, Dr. Ginestra uses skills he has acquired and honed throughout his career to change the lives of his patients.
