About Gregory Nikolaidis, MD

Gregory A. Nikolaidis, M.D. received his Dermatology specialty training at the University of California San Diego. Dr. Nikolaidis graduated cum laude from Trinity University in Texas and went on to graduate at the top of his class from Baylor College of Medicine.

Dr. Nikolaidis' interest in cutting edge research and technology in skin care led him to train with internationally recognized cosmetic surgery leaders in laser therapy in a prestigious fellowship in southern California. There, he was involved with research studies, clinical trials and patient care. He brings his expertise back to Texas at Westlake Dermatology & Cosmetic Surgery.

Dr. Nikolaidis is Board Certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is a Fellow of the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Dermatology, the Dermatology Foundation Leaders Society, the Texas Medical Association and the Travis County Medical Society.

Dr. Nikolaidis is a proud member of the Botox National Education Faculty and he has personally trained numerous physicians on Botox, Radiesse, Restylane, Sculptra, and other non-invasive procedure techniques. Several companies, including Thermage and Reliant (makers of Fraxel), consult with Dr. Nikolaidis for his expertise in product development.

In 2009, Dr. Nikolaidis ranked #1 in the Austin Business Journal listing of "Austin's Top Cosmetic Surgeons and Physicians" ranked by other specialties. In 2006 and 2007, Dr. Nikolaidis was selected as a Texas Super Doctor. This honor is presented to only the top five percent of doctors in Texas. Super Doctors are selected through peer nominations, a blue ribbon panel review process and independent research on candidates.
