About William Ting

Dr. William Ting is a board-certified dermatologist, a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology (FAAD) and a Member of American Society for Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS). His practice philosophy incorporates the best and latest dermatology practices and most advanced aesthetic techniques. Dr. William Ting has been performing tumescent liposuction since 2007. He was expertly trained by Dr. Jeffrey Klein (who invented tumescent liposuction) in the art and sciences of body sculpturing of the neck, upper arms, chest (breast reduction for men), abdomen, flanks (love handles), back rolls, hips, thighs and knees. In addition, Dr. William Ting is a certified in performing SmartLipo Triplex and LaserBodySculpting.

As the director of the Ultherapy Center of Excellence as well as the nonsurgical SonixLipo Body Liposculpturing Program at San Ramon CA, he combines the art and science of Dermatology and Aesthetic Medicine with technical knowhow acquired via his training at UC Berkeley Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences. He is a graduate of Northwestern University Medical School as well as Kellogg School of Management where he was endowed combined M.D./M.B.A. degrees.

He has been a prolific contributor to the field of dermatology and aesthetic medicine, particularly in the area of Fractional CO2 Laser resurfacing and preventive dermatology. He has won several dermatology research awards and often quoted in media including BusinessWeek, Cosmopolitan, Elle, Contra Costa Times etc. Even in private practice, he has continued to publish in peer-reviewed dermatology journals and speak at numerous academic, local, national and international forums. He makes sure that each recommendation is tailored to each patient's unique set of skin complexion, social and cultural backgrounds, and other priorities.

For his efforts in public service, he was recently endowed Certificate of Appreciation by the American Cancer Society.
