After reading one of the most recent issues of Allure Magazine, women might affirm that aging is easier on men, based on the perceptions of 2,000 men and women surveyed and polled by Allure with the assistance of research group Penn Schoen Berland in the US on the subject of AGING. Let\u2019s face it, looks matter, in life, finding a mate, business, relationship longevity and in the bedroom. But seemingly, women have to keep up and maintain the attraction distraction more than men. For example, men look more \u201cdistinguished\u201d as they age (as defined by women), but women look \u201cold\u201d (as defined by men) as they start to show signs of physical aging. So for men, going gray is not as much of an issue. However, for women, it may be best to visit your stylist for color treatments to keep up your appearance.<\/p>\n

\"Aging:<\/a>

Aging: Harder On Women Than Men: Allure Magazine Study Reveals<\/p><\/div>\n

Of the group, it was a consensus that women have it harder than men. 91% of females agree and 84 percent of males nodded \u201cyes\u201d to that as well. Interestingly, only 34% of the men surveyed were worried about wrinkles and signs of aging<\/a> while 56% of females were concerned themselves with the outcomes.<\/p>\n

The \u201caha\u201d moment came when 42 percent of female compared to the 18 percent males indicated they would seek to the help from a cosmetic or plastic surgeon to help them maintain their youth to stay more attractive, which could encompass both surgical and non-surgical procedures, like Botox, dermal filler injections, which is a 24 percent disparity between the two.<\/p>\n

African Americans are not as concerned. Women and men alike expressed that the females age well, and they get better with age.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s important perhaps to denote that the age groups of the individuals polled matter as well, because women in their 60\u2019s had fewer concerns about their physical appearance (in sexual situations) than women ages 30-50. Kudos.<\/p>\n

Great news: more than 50 percent of the respondents gave sex a thumbs-up with age, so it gets better for both sexes. But alas, there is a caveat for women, even though sex may get better, there may be fewer partners in the pool, because male baby boomers or men of a similar age-bracket are more attracted to younger women.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
