About Kwasi Debra, MD

Kwasi Debra, M.D. is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. In his 27 years of dedication to women's health from their teens to menopause, Dr. Debra has grown his practice and reputation on specializing in these areas. More recently, Dr. Kwasi Debra received additional training in liposuction and in the use of laser-assisted technologies and devices to perform minimally invasive procedures to help sculpt nearly any area of the body by removing unwanted fat from specific areas, including: the abdomen, hips, buttocks, thighs, knees, upper arms, chin, cheeks and neck. During the past decade liposuction, which is also known as "lipoplasty" or "suction lipectomy", has benefited from several new refinements. Today, a number of new techniques including ultrasound assisted lipoplasty (ULA), the tumescent technique, and wet technique, are helping many cosmetic surgeons to provide selected patients with more precise results and quicker recovery times. In addition, Dr. Debra performs other procedures to help with skin rejuvenation, spider veins, anti-aging, skin-tightening, and vaginal rejuvenation.

Often used in conjunction with other plastic surgery techniques, liposuction removes pockets of fat from troublesome areas such as the thighs, hips, abdomen and upper arms. Liposuction procedures vary depending on what your ultimate cosmetic goal is and whether you are combining liposuction with other plastic surgery procedures.
